"Hess Windows replaced 15 windows in March 2018 and 7 more windows on April 3 & 4, 2019 on the main level of our home. Salesman, Matt Goodwin, came to our home in January 2018 not really knowing anything about us. He was the third and final window salesman to come talk with us for the purpose of advice, product information, and estimated price tag for replacement windows. Needless to say, he was not only the last salesman with whom we met, but the absolute best salesman and sold us what we believe are the best replacement windows for our home at a really good price compared to the other companies. 2018 installation went so well with the company's installers that we completed the main level of our home in 2019, just last week. Hopefully (in 2020) we will have the final four windows upstairs replaced by Hess Windows. With the final four completed, all windows will be replaced with guarantee/warranty by Hess Windows.We cannot say enough about how reliable, professional, and informative the entire staff has been. They enter our home, work inside/outside, and leave our home in better condition than when they arrived. Matt Goodwin, Little Matt (installation measuring and scheduling), Kevin and the installers themselves have all done excellent work with an excellent product. The windows are energy efficient, easy to open and close, and absolutely worth the reasonable price as compared to the other quotes we received in 2018. The installation days, for us, have gone smoothly and all work was completed in the time frame predicted. The installation crew in 2019 (Chris, Terry, Jon, Dave) did an excellent job under Mike's leadership. We must add that Chris (installer) went above and beyond to clean up thoroughly both days, in addition to answering our questions regarding the install process and throughout the cleanup process. We could not have expected or asked for anything more from Chris in the way of respect for us and our home. He was, in our opinion, the key to proper onsite preparation, installation, and clean up for the entire 2019 contractual agreement. A great big THANK YOU to Jeff ( we were initially given Jeff's name by a neighbor) and all the staff at Hess Windows!Update as of May 2019: We have ordered a new front entry door (with side lite & transom) and storm door to replace the original doors. We fully expect quality doors and installation; we will update this review again after the install is completed in June. Hess Windows is so very reliable, professional and honest with their customers!Update: Doors installed on June 28th by Terry, Shawn and Christian. Once again, an excellent install from beginning to end. We can now keep our inside door open on nice days and lock our storm door so people can know we are home and absolutely NO Bugs can get in around our storm/screen door! How wonderful!!!!! We are confident that if we need any adjustments in the future, Hess will stand by their work and return to adjust whatever is needed. So far, so very good! We transitioned from the French door style to a single door style for more functioning single door. We were extremely pleased with Mike who came out to give us an estimate. He is very dog friendly (we have 7 so we know)! He reviewed all our options for our needs. Mike was very responsive along the process of finalizing our wants for our door. "April 30, 2016 We recently had your company replace 10 windows and a patio door to our home. We could not be more pleased. First of all, the two installers, Steve on Monday, April 25th and another Steve on Tuesday, April 26th, were excellent in their work and their craftsmanship. They were careful while in our home, they were precise in the work they did, they cleaned up thoroughly after their work was complete and they were always courteous as they performed their work. The finished product, the windows and door, were exactly as we had expected. The natural wood interior color of the windows and the door blends in nicely with our existing natural wood trim and molding. The windows were fit perfectly and the workmanship of their construction is outstanding. The patio door is beautiful and it complements the family room in which it is installed. "November 29, 2007 Friends at Hess, Earlier this week we had a sliding patio door installed in our home. I am writing to thank you for the professional service and especially the quality of the installation. I believe the installer’s name was Steve, although I was not home at the time and did not meet him. His work was exemplary and he was very courteous to my wife while working, answering any questions we may have had. He even noticed a potential problem with the siding J- Channel and by quickly drilling a small weep hole he probably saved us some problems down the road. Honestly, I am fairly handy DIY type and Steve was the first contractor in our house since it was built. I am very glad we chose to go with you and Steve doing the installation (although my pride is a little hurt because there is no way I could have done such a good job). In addition Steve noticed a small problem with the door and pointed it out to us and then reported it to you. Another of your employees, who was just as courteous, showed up today to take a look. He confirmed the problem and said it would be taken care of. This is terrific service. We chose your company based on nothing more than the fact that you have been in business for so long and also by the way we were treated when we came into the store.
